Resumen

The origin of life. A main didactic tool to raise values

Evolutionary theory is important. It has transcendence for the citizens of any nation and for their educational problems, jammed with different cultural, political, philosophical and religious positions. It is necessary to bring citizens near to the current hypothesis on the evolution of matter and the origin of life. Such programme will contribute to understand the origin of life as a natural event and, from this perspective, it will reflect on the ethical principles that derive directly from a better knowledge of our cosmos and its evolution mechanisms, and eventually the shearing a scientific worldview. Thus, finally we may overcome conflicts, erradicate hate, fanaticism, and all the other prejudices that are the breeding ground for war.
